Bertrand Deprez is the head of policy and government affairs of GE Vernova within the European Union. GE Vernova is one of the largest technology providers for the generation, transfer and storage of electricity in Europe. Our technologies help to provide about 30% of the electricity across the continent. Previously, Bertrand was Vice President for EU Government Affairs at Schneider Electric, where he managed public affairs activities for the group in Europe. Over the years, Bertrand has developed a deep expertise within the realm of energy, digital and climate policies. He is holds positions of responsibility in several trade associations and groups at the EU level.
Prior to that, Bertrand worked several years at Edelman/The Centre, a well-known PR/PA agency specializing in EU affairs. Bertrand graduated at University Lyon 3 (France) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK). He lives in Brussels.
